pictures!
i finally got my ass down to arranging the pictures
wahahaha
day 1
early morn flight to taiwan!
almost died on the plane
was mostly sick the entire way
touched down around 12 plus one
met up with the tour group which had 18 ppl
first stop 野柳!
fantastic rock formations
=D
some shopping of the local food
sotong thingys and seaweed
wahaha
shilin night market next
tried smelly tofu,oyster egg etc
not too bad
and of course the xxl chicken
lots to see at the shopping area
and some really good bubble tea
that bro wandered off to buy when the gals were shopping
but sadly it rained
like super bad
was entirely drenched
day 2
travelled up the mountains for lunch at the swiss village
den visited the 小人国
and it rained again!!!
anyway we were more prepared
took many many pictures!
next we went to a DIY farm
where we can pick tomatoes
but we didn't la
love the tomatoe juice!
spotted a cute DIY candy floss machine too
went to feng jia night market
had very very good mee sua n meat balls!
packed some for supper
shopped arnd too
bought bags!
day 3
went up to ailishan
trekked through the forest
which was rather exciting!
it was a rather surreal feeling
so peaceful and all
there was really some very nice views
right out of post cards
weather was nice n cool
but it drizzled a little at the end
though tiring it was worth it !
at night
we again went to yet another night market
i forgot the name!
day 4
visited some temples
but sadly the lake that it sat on was renovating
so the views ain't tt nice
next we went to dream mall
it had the hello kitty ferris wheel
which was quite cute
lunched at the food court
bro n enwei bought this small coke bottle there
very cute!
oh yes
we feel in love with 鸡蛋糕 which was readily available at the night markets
so we couldn't resist buying some from the foodcourt
which is also surprisingly good!
oh yes
bubble tea frm here also good!
we bought more for our long bus ride to chipen
we saw a pet pig!
at one of the pit stops!
the bus ride was harrowing
according to the tour guide
one of the worst in taiwan
love the bedroom at hotel royal chipen!
super stylish!
had a good dinner too
which ended nicely with alot of fruits

the old aunty in our tour grp wasn't feeling very well
helped the uncle call insurance and all
cuz he was really worried and wanted to bring her back to singapore
end up she went to clinic nearby
the tour guide was super irritating!
argh
he wasn't helping much and was jus showing black face frm the extra work
horrid man
after sending the aunty off to the clinic
me bro n enwei went to the open air spa in the hotel
which wasn't tt fantastic
but still ok
soaked there till it was closing time
day 5 we visited 小野柳 which was made up of coral rocks
spent some time jus soaking up the views
travelled to the tropics of cancer marker!
padi fields nearby!
headed up to the toroko gorge
we all were amazed at the place
the gorge was basically made up of marble
like wow!
went to a few more sight seeing places there
day 6
took a train ride frm hualian to ruifang
went to 九份 for lunch
fuzhou fishballs rocks!
and they are freaking big!
tried the famous dessert too
shopped arnd
had this delicious snack which had peanut and ice cram wrapped in popiah skin!
bro was hungry
so he ate beef noodles
went to 自由广场
too hilarious videos
of me bro n enwei
saw this totally cute baby gal
but couldn't really get a good shot of her
went to yet another mega mall
and deicided to take the ferris wheel here
fun yet frightening ride!
dinner at伍角船板 which was designed by a famous designer
good food!
went to taipei 101!
many many branded shops
haha
me n enwei did embrassing jumps outside 101
much to the amusement of mum
stayed in a freaking big hotel suite!
with a kitchen n living room!
day 7
went to princess house
tt sells lingzhi and royal jelly
den went to lovers' bridge
had smokelss japanese bbq
super nice!
oh yes..
the rubbish trucks there announce their arrive by music!
and scooters are the way to go
scooters can basically go anywhere and carry up to 3 ppl!
went to 老街
shopped arnd again
rushed to see the changing of guards
headed to 五份普
shopping madness!
den to ximending
super tired
rushed through dinner
so tt we won't be late
freaking cheap set dinner
like 10 SD for a drink, soup,main course and dessert
which all tasted good!
we also did more shopping at the supermarket at the basement of the hotel
wahahaha
mass packing to be done!
day 8
went to the official residence Chiang Kai-Sheik and Soong Mei-Ling
had a good time walking in the rose gardens
saw a cuople taking marriage pictures there!
saw a rose names titanic!
went to a 风水 place
den it was off to the airport!
duty free shopping!
had some time to do more last min shopping
wahahaha
had the most ex bubble tea in the airport
like 5SD per cup
and it was super sweet oo
oh wells
flight back was much better
tounched down arnd 6 plus
DUTY FREE
wahahahahahahaha
enough said!
headed home totally tired!
done!
off to dance! =D
